Rooftop snow and ice removal is a serious endeavor. When you hire us, you’re hiring a trained trio of rope-access professionals. Each of us has earned IRATA (Industrial Rope Access Trade Association) certification. This credential, held by only 300 people in the United States, provides us training and skills to work safely at height.
Most roofs require some rope work. And rope work requires anchor points. RopeTech has developed our own state-of-the-art roof anchors. Unlike conventional “corkscrew” anchors that rely on one large hole through the roof, our anchors are secured by eight small (but very strong) quarter-inch roofing screws. We guarantee our anchors do not cause leaks. And we trust them exclusively.
Our concern for safety extends beyond ourselves. Before we start any job, we inspect the entire property for areas where falling ice and snow could endanger those below. We then deploy the requisite combination of signage, flagging and ground spotters to protect the public. During our inspection, we also place protective plywood sheeting over any exposed features such as gas and electric meters, exterior lighting fixtures, hot tubs and ground level windows.
